A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around the client. Reiki treats the whole being, the body, emotions, mind and spirit. It creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. Relaxation allows the energy to flow through the body bringing balance and healing. Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki does not depend on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. During a treatment, the client is fully clothed and either rests on a massage table or sits in a chair. The healer places his/her hands lightly on or just above the body. Energy enters the healer and is channeled to the client through the healer's hands. The client may experience a sense of warmth or tingling.
